Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on the Amora app or accessing amorabr.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

  • You confirm you are at least 18 years old.
  • You use Amora only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
  • You are not banned from similar platforms for rule violations.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • Treat other users with respect and dignity.
  • Use only real photos of yourself (no deepfakes, no stolen images).
  • Not create fake profiles or multiple accounts.
  • Not use Amora for commercial purposes, marketing or recruitment.

4. Prohibited content

The following is strictly forbidden:

  • Sexually explicit content, nudity or pornography.
  • Any content involving minors.
  • Hate speech, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism.
  • Harassment, threats, bullying or stalking.
  • Violent or gory content; glorification of self-harm.
  • Money requests, financial scams or phishing.
  • Spam, suspicious links or promotion of other services.
  • Sharing third-party personal information without consent.
  • Illegal drugs, weapons or illegal activities.

5. Profile verification

We reserve the right to manually review photos and documents submitted for verification. Verified profiles receive a badge. Suspicious profiles may be suspended without prior notice.

6. Premium subscription

  • Plans: Monthly R$ 20.00 / 6-month R$ 60.00 / Annual R$ 120.00.
  • Payment on the website (amorabr.com): processed via Stripe. Charged immediately upon confirmation.
  • Payment inside the Android app: processed exclusively by Google Play Billing, in compliance with Google Play policies. The Android app does not use Stripe or any other external payment system for in-app purchases.
  • Subscription benefits: tied to your Amora account and active across every device, regardless of where you purchased (Web or Android).
  • Renewal: subscriptions purchased via Google Play follow the auto-renewal cycle configured in Google Play; purchases made on the website follow the Stripe cycle (no auto-renewal by default).
  • Refunds:
    • Stripe purchases (website): per Brazilian consumer law, you have 7 days for buyer's remorse. After that, no pro-rata refund for unused days.
    • Google Play purchases (Android): refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's policies. You can request a refund at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
  • Premium benefits: unlimited likes, visible "who liked you", rewind, 5 Amora Stars/month, ad-free.

7. Account suspension and deletion

We may suspend or delete your account without prior notice if:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • You receive multiple verified reports.
  • You use the account for illegal activities.
  • You attempt to defraud or harm other users.

You may delete your own account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

8. Intellectual property

The Amora name, logo, design and source code are exclusive property of Amora. You retain all rights to photos and text you publish, but you grant Amora a limited license to display them within the app.

9. Limitation of liability

Amora is a service connecting people. We are not responsible for:

  • Behavior of other users outside the app.
  • In-person meetings. Always exercise caution.
  • False information provided by users.
  • Temporary service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure.

10. Safety and reporting

Use the "Report" and "Block" buttons for inappropriate behavior. In emergencies, contact local authorities.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification at least 7 days in advance.

12. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Venue: São Paulo/SP.
