Delete your Amora account

This page explains how to delete your Amora account (developed by AmoraBR), which data is erased, and which data may be retained.

1. Delete your account inside the app (recommended)

In-app deletion is immediate and irreversible:

1. Open the Amora app and log in.
2. Tap the Profile icon (bottom-right).
3. Scroll to the Settings section.
4. Tap "Delete account".
5. Type the confirmation word DELETE (or EXCLUIR / ELIMINAR / حذف) in the box.
6. Tap Confirm. Your account and data will be erased immediately.

2. Request deletion when you can't access the app

If you can't log in (forgot password, uninstalled the app, lost access to your email, etc.), send a request to our team by email:

• Email: amora.br.com@gmail.com
• Subject: [Account Deletion] - Amora
• Body: include the email address used at sign-up.

Use the button below to open a pre-filled email. We will process the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR and Brazil's LGPD (Law 13,709/2018).

3. Data deleted immediately

• Profile (name, email, password, date of birth, gender, bio, profession, education, religion, interests)
• All uploaded photos
• Likes, super-likes, and swipe history
• Matches and chats (all sent and received messages)
• Reports filed or received
• ID documents and selfies submitted for profile verification
• Premium subscription records and payment transactions
• Push-notification tokens and registered devices
• OTP codes (email verification)

4. Data that may be retained for a short period

• Server backups: automatically overwritten within 30 days.
• Security access logs: retained for up to 90 days for fraud and abuse prevention, then deleted.
• Records required by law or judicial order: retained for the minimum legal period (e.g., tax records or law-enforcement cooperation, when applicable).
