1. Zero-tolerance commitment
Amora enforces a zero-tolerance policy against any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) content. Any account engaged in creating, possessing, distributing or soliciting such content will be permanently banned without notice, and relevant data will be preserved and reported to the competent authorities.
2. Age restriction — 18+ only
Amora is a serious-relationship dating app strictly for users 18 years of age and older. Registration by minors is not permitted under any circumstance.
- Date of birth is collected and validated at sign-up; profiles under 18 are blocked automatically.
- Suspected use by minors is investigated by the moderation team and the account is terminated immediately.
- Manual document (ID/Passport) + selfie verification is available to strengthen age proof.
3. In-app reporting mechanism
Every user can report any suspicious profile, photo, or message directly inside the app:
- A "Report" button is available on every profile, conversation, and photo.
- Report categories include: underage user, child sexual content, grooming, fake profile, abuse, and others.
- Child-safety reports are handled with top priority (response within 24 hours).
- You may also email our team directly at: amora.br.com@gmail.com.
4. Content moderation practices
Amora combines automated and human moderation to detect and remove harmful content:
- Automated screening: all uploaded photos are scanned automatically for nudity, indicators of minors, and other policy violations.
- Human review: every report is reviewed manually by Amora's trained moderation team.
- Profile verification: manual document + selfie verification helps reduce fake accounts and prevent misuse by minors.
- Permanent ban & evidence retention: accounts violating this policy are permanently banned; logs, messages, and relevant media are preserved as permitted by law to cooperate with authorities.
- Re-registration blocking: attempts to recreate an account with the same email, ID, or device are blocked.
5. Legal compliance and reporting to authorities
Amora complies with all applicable child-protection laws and cooperates with competent authorities in every jurisdiction where we operate, including:
- United States — 18 U.S.C. § 2258A: any identified CSAM is reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children).
- Brazil — ECA (Law 8,069/1990) and Law 11,829/2008: reports can be filed via Disque 100 (Human Rights Hotline) and SaferNet Brazil. Amora cooperates with Federal Police and Public Prosecution under judicial order.
- European Union — Digital Services Act (DSA) and Regulation 2021/1232: reporting, transparency, and cooperation with designated national authorities.
- Other jurisdictions: we cooperate with legitimate law-enforcement authorities under international treaties and valid judicial orders.
